(1st year students) Another Great Year at Camp H2O 2007
This year’s theme was “The Ninth Hour” taken from Matthew 27:45-54 and Acts 2:1-16. These two events mark the moment when Christ’s sacrifice tore the temple curtain in two, allowing all to enter into the presence of the Lord, and on the day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit came to dwell upon the apostles to fill them with God’s living power.
Camp H2O consists of various activities such as Team Building Games, Arts & Activities, Sports, a trip to Bass Lake, and Drama. Students participated in morning prayer, workshops, extreme teachings, evening sessions and worship in order to deepen their faith with the Lord. Students also had a lot of fun in the process! Overall Camp H2O was another great year and we cannot wait for next year to start up another week. Camp
H2O had another successful year with young high school students from
all over the Diocese. Over 65 people were involved in making this
year’s summer camp a fun, exciting and deep experience that none
will forget.
Camp
H2O is all about creating disciples for God in young people. The
vision of the camp is to bring young Christians into a deeper
knowledge of the God that this Diocese serves day to day. We
believe that this year God met with His people and made an impact in
their lives.
